Overview

Join CSM Worldwide for an in-depth look changing market conditions affecting the automotive industry. Greg Mount, Chief Economist, will provide an examination of the global economy in both the short and long term, noting the implications for segmental shifts. Henner Lehne, Director, Global Vehicle Sales Forecasts, will discuss light vehicle sales developments across markets globally including structural demand and sourcing shifts.

Mike Jackson, Director, North America Vehicle Forecasts, will explain the short term increase in production from 2009’s low, continued restructuring, product launches and sourcing shifts as well as the need for competitive product portfolios of the future. Mark Fulthorpe, Director, Europe Vehicle Forecasts, will review the shape of Europe’s recovery and the adaptation of European OEM sourcing strategies.

Masatoshi Nishimoto, Senior Manager, Japan/Korea Vehicle Forecasts, will examine global trends affecting the regional sales and production, as well as OEM strategies. Jerry Huang, Manager, Greater China Vehicle Forecasts, will provide a view of China’s future for both the short and long term. Michael Robinet, Vice President, Global Vehicle Forecasts, will conclude with an examination of new structures and critical competitive traits that will determine tomorrow’s winners and losers.

Registration

A client registration fee of ¥35,000 per person and a non-client registration fee of ¥70,000 per person will be charged.  Registration will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Cancellations must be received 72 hours before the event date to receive a refund of the registration fee. Cancellations within 72 hours of the event date will be charged the full registration fee.

Biographies

Greg Mount

Greg Mount, Chief Economist, is responsible for developing and integrating macro-sales forecast scenarios and models into CSM Worldwide global forecasts. Mr. Mount holds an M.B.A. from the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management and a B.A. in economics from Northwestern University.

Henner Lehne

Henner Lehne, Director, Global Sales Forecasts, is responsible for tracking and projecting global light vehicle sales demand, analyzing OEM product and brand strategies, and observing market and segment trends. Mr. Lehne holds a degree in international marketing from Fontys University of Professional Education, Netherlands.

Mike Jackson

Mike Jackson, Director, North American Vehicle Forecasts, is responsible for directing sales and production forecasting in addition to conducting industry surveillance and product planning analysis to deliver cutting-edge insight on the automotive industry. Mr. Jackson has an undergraduate degree in management strategy from Eastern Michigan University and earned his M.B.A. in international marketing from Wayne State University.

Mark Fulthorpe

Mark Fulthorpe, Director, European Vehicle Forecasts, is responsible for European light vehicle sales and production forecasting, future product program intelligence, platform strategies and market analysis. Mr. Fulthorpe holds an honors degree in English Literature from the University of London, Goldsmiths College.

Masatoshi Nishimoto

Masatoshi Nishimoto, Senior Manager, Japan/Korea Vehicle Forecasts, is responsible for the Japan and South Korean light vehicle production forecasts, market research and integration of information into the forecasts. Mr. Nishimoto holds a bachelor degree in economics from Yamaguchi University.

Jerry (Zherui) Huang

Jerry Huang, Manager, Greater China Vehicle Forecast, is responsible for the Greater China light vehicle production and sales forecast, as well as the analysis of OEM strategies. Mr. Huang holds a master’s degree in automotive engineering from the Tongji University.

Michael Robinet

Michael Robinet, Vice President, Global Vehicle Forecasts, is responsible for global light vehicle sales and production forecasting, future product program intelligence, platform strategies, market analysis, as well as supplier and facility rationalization issues. Mr. Robinet holds a degree in economics and a M.B.A. from the University of Windsor.
